Taking abortion from 1967 to 2027

Abortion Rights Scotland are beginning a campaign "Taking abortion from 1967 to 2027", to coincide with 60 years of the 1967 Abortion Act being passed in Parliament.

October 2027 may seem a long way away but we hope with your help we can work to create awareness in the build up to 27th October.

We are creating a zine (pronounced "zeen", short for fanzine, a self published and non commercial mini booklet or pamphlet) and would love ARS supporters, members and creatives to get involved!

The zine will be a journey through time, so if you have experience of working with themes of abortion/reproductive rights, or experiences to share from '67 to present day, send us your visual art, writing and photos.
